We had an unforgettable tour of the wildlife around Port Stanley in the Bound family 4x4 - as a taster for their tours for 2026/2027 when we stopped for a day on the Islands from our cruise ship in January 2025. They showed us all the incredible wildlife spots in reach of Stanley - Gipsy Cove, the Lighthouse and York Bay and we spotted seals and all varieties of penguins. Their land rover is perfect for off-roading and challenging terrain not to mention the fun!"

Bound Tours My wife and I met Libby and Zak at Goodwood, where they were working for the Falklands Maritime Heritage Trust. What a great couple! They have set up Bound Tours and are so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the Falklands, its nature and Shackleton history. We have booked the ‘Shackleton Tour’ for our January 26 visit. Fun and Informative Day In Stanley! Zak and Libby are wonderful hosts. Zak waited for us more than two hours on a cold, windy day as the shuttles from our ship to shore were very slow. At our request, they modified the standard Shackleton tour tomorrow include include the major sites in the area. We were fortunate to have the added bonus of meeting Zak’s dad—the man who found Sir Edmund Shackleton’s ship, Endurance. He and Zak brought the story of Shackleton journey to life. Highly recommend this extraordinary adventure.

An amazing day! It was a SUPER windy day when we took this tour, but Zak was unperturbed, and thus so were we. On the drive out to Bertha's Beach, he talked about life on the islands, pointed out battlefield sites, and gave us lots of information about penguins, which he loves. At the beach we saw many Magellenic penguins up close and were able to get some great photos. We then had a delicious lunch prepared by his partner Libby. We ate outside, sheltered by the wind, until the rain chased us back into the 4x4. Libby's "flapjack" candy was delicious. Then we went to Yorke Beach to see gentoo penguins. Zak pointed out 2 king penguins in the crowd as well. Afterwards we saw the family boat 😄 and he dropped us off at the museum. Zak was most kind and accomodating, answering our questions and stopping whenever we wanted to take a picture. Despite the sub-par weather, it was an amazing day! I would definitely come back and I would book my tour with Zak and Libby!

Great Tour of the Falkland... Our tour of the Falkland Islands included Gypsy Cove, Cape Pembroke & Stanley. Our tour guide, Libby, was an absolute delight. Penguins are what we wanted to see, and penguins we did see……..three different species. When you add her knowledge of the island, you have an exceptional tour. Highly recommend.

I wish there was a way I could give this 10 stars instead of the maximum of five! This tour was magnificent! The penguins and the landscapes are all incredible, unique, and beautiful on the Falkland Islands! But it is Libby & Zak that make this tour truly special! They are kind and thoughtful and will give you personal insight to living in this special place! I wish that I could give this 10 stars instead of the maximum of five. If you are considering exploring the Falkland Islands with Bound Tours… Stop, hesitating, and book it now! You will not be disappointed!
